Cook and Scale

Cook and Scale is a recipe site where every recipe scales cleanly to the number of servings you need, with amounts written the way a cook actually measures them. This connector lets you build your recipe collection by conversation. Dictate your grandmother's lasagne, work out a weeknight dinner together, or hand over a recipe you have been reading — and it lands in your Cook and Scale account as a real, structured recipe: ingredients matched to a food database so quantities scale properly, steps with timers, prep and cook times, cuisine, meal type, diets and equipment. Recipes can be written in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese, and one recipe can hold several languages at once. You can also read your recipes back, correct them, add a photograph of your own, or have an illustrative photo generated when you do not have one. Beyond the recipes themselves, the assistant can keep your pantry (what you have in, and how much), find recipes you can cook from it and deduct what a meal used, plan your week, save recipes to your book and sort them into collections. Everything an assistant adds arrives privately in your Recipe inbox, where you review it. Nothing is ever published to the public site by an assistant — that stays your own action, taken on the website. You choose which of seven permissions to grant when you connect, and you can change or revoke them at any time in your settings.
